Easter is family time. But for the little shining eyes, they are super interested as they search the house and yard for chocolate goodness

We are trading our sons baby bottles with Easter Bunny this year. Master almost 2 has developed quite a taste for "choc", (Just like his Mama), so we think this may be a way to get onto the big boy sippy cups, and leave the bottles out for Easter Bunny to take away and give to younger boys and girls who cant eat choc yet. Easter Bunny will also be leaving behind a toothbrush.

Its our daughters first Easter and although she is too little to know about it or to enjoy the Easter festivities we plan on spending the day all together with family and friends, our 7 yr old is especially looking forward to the egg hunt.

We have not had a chance to spend much time together as a family lately so this Easter is about Quality time. We plan on doing an Easter egg hunt and visiting a local animal sanctuary.

This Easter for us will be fairly quiet, I just had a baby girl last weekend so we will be enjoying our family time with our new addition. We also always do an Easter Egg hunt in our garden for my sons, and we will be attending the Easter service at the chapel at the school my sons go to. Oh, and of course indulging in too much chocolate! I am now following you on twitter and FB :)) Happy Easter!

With the new edition to the family looming I will be spending easter sunday with the current extended family over a beautiful home cooked roast and contemplating all the wonderful changes that are about to happen to our dynamic and crazy unit. I will also be thinking of all those people around the world that I love and wish were with me at this time.

My son is 2.5 and just starting to grasp the idea of the Easter Bunny so on Sunday morning we are going to do our first Easter Egg Hunt! I bought the gifts and organic fair trade chocolate from Oxfam. If the weather is nice we will have a picnic at the beach with all the family.

This Easter will be our new sons first, so we are hoping to get some beautiful professional images done of him and our daughter. Our little girl is also now old enough to understand the easter concept so we will be doing an easter egg hunt and making chocolate eggs on easter sunday as a family.

I already like you on Facebook but I don't tweet so alas cannot follow you there - hope that does not disqualify me :) We always went to church at Easter when I was a child in Scotland. It was a really big deal, and I look back with some fondness on the traditional aspect of it. Also fo course I loved my Cadbury's egg with buttons in ;) However, I am no longer a believer so there will be no church this year, instead Easter is special family time. We will be on the beach. Bit different to the Scottish easters of my childhood!

Last year we spent Easter in Bayview beach, it was lovely seeing all the little ones splashing water with their water dogs. We are thinking of doing the same this year, followed by a treasure hunt in the park .

Last Easter was spent running around like a chook with no head doing an Easter Egg Hunt with my kids. Probably should've done the run around AFTER eating all the chocolate though. Might be able to fit into my pants now, if I had've.
    Whoops :)

Easter Sunday normally starts early at my house- the kids wake at the crack of dawn and get all excited about what the Easter bunny has brought them. Then after brekky we have a huge hunt for the eggs that the Easter bunny dropped throughout the back yard. Lunch we normally have extended family around for a BBQ. That night is spent relaxing and recovering lol as we are so tired!

Its actually quite funny because im addicted to chocolate yet on Easter my mum always gave me a teddy bear/bunny instead. So for my first easter with my little man ill be doing the same tradition as my mum. No chocolate at easter (well maybe 1 egg!) just a teddy and we'll hopefully be going away camping. I wan him to see as much of the world as he can so it will be a different trip every easter :)

We are planning a family barbeque at my mother in laws house for easter. A bunny egg hunt for the children, which they adore and generally catching up with everyone as we all have busy lifestyles.
